a note for choosing your service:
You need only choose the length of time you'd like for your session when scheduling. All massage services include a chat about what your needs are for that day. For example, options will be given for your preference in:
temperature (heated table, fan, extra blankets, hot towels, cold stones)
position on the table (did you know side-lying is an option??)
music (it doesn't have to be massage music!?)
level of pressure (this can change from moment to moment, part to part, so speak up if you need more or less)
These needs can change by the day, hour, minute! So, I never assume a one-size-fits-all perspective when it comes to seeing clients. You are unique, let's match your session to your needs! The following descriptions are just examples of what each duration could be good for.
30 Minute Custom Massage
In this session, we will discuss your needs and can narrow the focus to specific areas for treatment. This is also a good selection if you are new to massage and are looking for a brief introduction to bodywork. I will use a combination of techniques to encourage your body's relaxation and healing. Please arrive a few minutes early to talk about your session goals.
60 Minute Custom Massage
A 60 minute session is great for a full body treatment** or for thoroughly focusing on a couple specific areas. A combination of techniques will be used to relax and soothe areas of tension and restriction. Please arrive a few minutes early to discuss your goals.
**full body includes scalp/face, neck, upper chest, back, legs, arms, hands and feet. You can always choose to have any of these areas avoided, and I will always ask for your preference that day.
90 Minute Custom Massage
This extended session offers enough time to address the whole body while also focusing on any areas of concern. Those extra 30 minutes gives you a chance to truly slow down and allow your body to let go of tension. As always, this session is tailored to your specific needs and incorporates various techniques. Please arrive a few minutes early to discuss your goals.
120 Minute Custom Massage
The ultimate space to unwind. Two full hours of relaxing and therapeutic massage, customized to meet your body's current needs. As always, you direct the session, so please arrive a few minutes early to discuss your goals.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to support and nurture expectant mothers, addressing their unique needs and discomforts throughout their pregnancy journey. Gentle techniques, positioning and supportive pillows and bolsters are all used to ensure the safety and comfort of both the mother and the baby.
